Taking Blood Family for Granted

As teenagers, we often enter the phases of peer pressure, trying to fit in, being cool, and being an emotional brat caused by hormonal fluctuations. During these turbulent times, people often lose sight of what is important. Teens of religious upbringing may lose their religious roots, and will hang with the wrong crowd doing stupid things.

Then, there are those from good households losing the importance of family. They do not realize that their new found friends do not give a rats crap about them, and will take their family for granted. Grand parents are not around forever, and they are often already in old age at that time. People often do not realize this until they lose it.
