There are times where one may overlook age. Generally adolescent are treated with much more restraint than an adult. Such as the case of the rule where another parent should never lay their hands on another person’s child. In the hands of the law, juveniles are often given slaps on the wrists for everything they do, other than the most heinous crimes.
