Getting Involved

SHARE

There is one huge difference between good neighborhoods and bad neighborhoods, other than the usual income disparity. The biggest difference you’ll notice is that in the good neighborhoods, the occupants of the area are proactive in reporting possible crime and suspicious individuals to the police. It’s the so called neighborhood watch. It’s looked down upon to not report a crime.

In bad neighborhoods, snitching is considered an offense that may warrant severe beatings or even death. There is no police cooperation other than the odd rat or the neighborhood snitch. Getting involved in reporting crimes in areas such as these is truly life risking and takes bravery to do so.
