Let’s face it, reptiles are not known for their great personalities. In fact, it is doubtful that they even bond with their owners. A green snake constricts one of the geckos while the humans watch in the background and does nothing. His companion, another gecko, decides to put matters into his own hands and save his friend.
It has been speculated that like other less than intelligent non-domesticated animals, reptiles do not bond with their owners. Their mission to simply meet their basic needs, and that does not require love. For the gecko to save his friend is unusual and surprising to say the least.
