When people found that they could make money from youtube via prank videos, the popularity of pranks surged in popularity. We saw a huge saturation of pranks, and eventually they started doing dumber and dumber things in order to get views. Later on, it was revealed that many of these “pranksters” hire paid actors as the “victims” of the prank. In short, we were watching nothing more than staged skits.
All is not lost however, as the prankster spirit lives on in regular people. A man decided to prank his coworker one day using a bear costume. They were working in an area with close proximity to the wilderness, so a bear would not be very surprising. This is what a real prank is, minus any accidents that the victim may have suffered.
