The Kung Fu San Soo guy (Sean Scott) instigated this. He taunted the Jiujitsu guy (John Marsh) and wanted to set up a match claiming he would win the fight in seconds. To reiterate his confidence, he put money where his mouth was. Not only did he bet $5000, he also agreed to a no tap rule. This means that no tapping as allowed, giving the Jiujitsu guy free reign to break a limb or choke him out.
He had the utmost confidence he could win. However, it’s now widely known that grappling is superior to striking in a 1v1 situation. Grappling takes away all striking skill, as this guy learned the hard way.
